Discover Uganda safari is a fun and exciting tour taking you around Uganda’s most tourist attractions . This tour cover all of Uganda major travel destination including Bwindi for gorilla trekking

Day 1: Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
In the morning after breakfast at your hotel, drive to Murchison Falls National Park having a stopover for lunch at Masindi then after proceed to the splendid and wondrous falls. Have an awesome sight at the robust Nile as it is farfetched into a seven-meter deep hole to thunder 45 meters below with it many cascades it forms that can be viewed at different points up to the conclusion. Dinner and overnight at Red Chillis camp, Sambiya River Lodge Paraa Lodge / Nile safari Lodge.

Day 2: Game Drive, Birding at Murchison Falls National Park
Rise early for a cup of tea then and set off for a 3-4 hours game drive on the northern Bank of the Nile River. Your expected game encounters in the park include Rothschild Giraffe, Elephant, the Jackoes, Hartebeest, Lions, Waterbucks and a variety of Savannah woodland birds. Return to your lodge for a mid morning breakfast and have a brief relaxation as you wait for lunch.  Lunch is then followed by boat ride along the Nile to see aquatic game and avian species at a close range. It’s a distinctive encounter with a family of hippos, crocodiles among others. For bird lovers, watch out for the celebrated shoe Bill stork if you are lucky and many other bird classes enjoy the dinner and overnight at your booked lodge.

Day 3: Murchison Fall to Fort portal
Happily leave Murchison Falls after an early breakfast for Fort portal.  You will pass through The Albertine rift through Hoima to the green country side of Fort portal.  Have lunch en route and arrive in the late afternoon. Dinner and over night at Ndali Lodge, Budget Chimps Nest Lodge, Rwenzori View House, Mountains of the moons Lodge

Day 4: Kibale National Park.
Take breakfast and leave for Kibale Forest National Park, commonly known to have a diversity of primates in East Africa.  Enjoy a guided chimpanzee walk in the tropical rainforest evergreen in searching of the Hotsprings, Black white colobus monkeys, wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, butterflies of different species and many others. Take you lunch and then go to the Bigodi areas for a swamp stride. The guide will give you details about the animal and plant life you will encounter. Then after transfer back to your lodge.

Day 5: From Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park
From Kibale, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park taking between 2-4 hours.  A game drive en route is gratifying with views of acacia trees, antelopes, birds and many other savanna wildlife and vegetation species. You will visit the crater lakes region, Katwe salt mines to see how salt is conventionally mined in Uganda. Then transfer for dinner and overnight at Albertine river camp, Hippo Hill Luxury tented camp, Mweya safari Lodge, Kyambura Wildlife reserve. Jacana Safari Lodge

Day 6: Game drive and Launch cruise.
We take on a morning game drive in search of the wild game. The drive will provide excellent scenic view of the great Lakes of Lake Edwards and Lake George, then also their gutter-the great Kazinga channel. In the game drive, expect elephants, lions, buffaloes, kobs, the Python, hyenas, warthogs, birds, hippos etc. Return to the lodge for mid morning breakfast and then have lunch. In the afternoon you will go for  a boat -cruise along Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. Expect to get exposed to a bird sin abundance both typical and migrants and the highest concentration of hippos in Africa. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up for an early morning breakfast and then transfer to Kyambura gorge for a chimpanzee tour. Driving through grassland area, straight away we come transversely to an amazing ravine of tropical rainforest 100 meters deep. Trek into Kyambura River Gorge for an odd; experience hiking chimpanzees. It’s so paying to see the river valley, home of many bird and butterfly species.  Rangers will provide the necessary information about the gorge and then later you will return to your lodge for lunch, dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Leave For Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
In the morning, you will leave for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. You will drive through the seasonal southern sector of Queen Elizabeth known as  Ishasha. Here we will take lunch by the Ishasha River if time permits and after searching for the famed Ishasha tree-climbing lions before continuing to Bwindi, home to the few remaining mountain gorillas. If you are tracking gorillas in the southern part of Bwindi , you will not be able to drive via this sector to shorten the drive between Kisoro and Queen Elizabeth national park. Bird life and primate life in the Bwindi national park is quite superb, and there is an incredible variety of flora. Some bird watchers refer to Bwindi as a bird heaven! It holds 348 species of birds and supports 24 of 26 Albertine Rift Endemics that occur in Uganda; and seven red data book species. Once continuous with the forests of the Virunga Volcanoes (Dian Fossey’s stomping ground), Bwindi is now an ecological island, surrounded by cultivation on the rich volcanic soils. Overnight at Buhoma Community Bandas, Lake Kitandara Camp, Gorilla Forest camp, Gorilla resort camp Clouds lodge.

Day 9: Gorilla Tracking In Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Take breakfast, with your packed lunch and  all your trekking gear, that is; a rain coat, ankle level hiking boots on , gardener’s gloves, pair of trousers and long sleeved shirt, etc go to the starting point for briefing by a ranger guide. Enter the gorilla sanctuary for your world premier wildlife encounter and adventure- Gorilla Tracking. The beauty of this rain forest is magnificent. The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but criss-crossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great giant apes. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight .

Day 10:Transfer to Jinja

Jinja is Uganda’s second biggest town after Kampala. It is where we find the source of the mighty Nile River, Bujagali falls and many industries. Jinja is located on the Northern shore of Lake Victoria above Ripon falls near Owen falls dam. Transfer from Kampala and head east along Jinja – Kampala road. Stop briefly at Mabira forest; check out different primates such as grey checked mangabey and red- tailed monkey. There are also butterfly and bird species most notably birds. Such as Nahan’s francolin, localized forest wood-hoopoe and African pitta. Mabira is unique ornithological site in Uganda. Continue to Jinja. Check out the source of the Nile. Day 11: Water Rafting/ Quad Biking/Bungee Jumping/Horse Riding
After enjoying breakfast, set off for water rafting on the most popular falls in Uganda, the Bujagali falls. These rapids go about 10km down river of the source of the Nile which has turned it to be one of the best spots for water rafting and kayaking. You may go bungee jumping and get to know what it means to let out your heart or horse riding or quad biking. Jinja is so much full of adventure that one cannot be bored in any way. Feel the adventure all the way. In the afternoon after taking lunch, you may return to Kampala which marks the end of this adventurous expedition.
